This 5-day course is designed for:
• Construction Site Managers
• Site Operators
• Individuals currently in, or preparing for, roles involving the planning, organizing, monitoring, controlling, and managing of staff and workforce teams.
The course equips participants with the essential knowledge and skills to effectively oversee construction activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and team productivity on-site.
This five-day course is designed for professionals in the building, construction, and civil engineering industries. It covers key legislation and practical measures that ensure safe working practices.
What the Course Covers
• Applicable Legislation: Understanding laws and regulations affecting workplace safety.
• Risk Assessment: Identifying hazards, implementing control measures, and promoting a safe working environment.
• Workplace Communication: Ensuring clear communication to build a strong health and safety culture among the workforce.
Course Requirements
• Learners must complete the full five days to be eligible for certification.
• Active participation is expected, including the completion of a mandatory toolbox talk.
Assessment
• The course concludes with a formal exam paper to assess knowledge and understanding.
• The exam demonstrates to external bodies that certification is only awarded to successful candidates following a thorough evaluation and examination.
To successfully achieve certification, participants must attend all five sessions as outlined in the course program, regardless of the chosen delivery method.
• If a participant misses any sessions, they must enroll in a new course and retake the entire five-day program.
• In exceptional circumstances, such as bereavement or certified illness, participants may:
• Enroll on another course to complete the missed days.
• Ensure they follow the correct sequence of training days, activities, and exercises.
Important: Any exceptions must be approved by CITB before final confirmation with the learner.
